Oscar had leaned back in his chair to pull his hoodie off, his biceps flexing as he stretched his arms up to pull off the fabric, the maroon t-shirt he wore underneath riding up just slightly to reveal a small strip of skin on his stomach. Lando caught himself staring for just a second too long, earning a raised eyebrow and a quiet laugh from Oscar who (thank god) didn’t seem to care too much.
Lando boiled down the fact that he soon after excused himself from the table to get himself off in his drivers room to him just being especially horny that day. Sure, he’d always found Oscar a bit unbearably attractive, but god he looked good in that shirt. Something about it made him want to tear the damn thing off with his teeth. He tried to push those thoughts away whenever they arose, because that was his teammate, and that’s weird. But it didn’t stop him from semi-regularly jacking off in the shower about it.

Summary
When Oscar Piastri arrives in Rodellar to assess the climbing hardware bolted into its limestone walls, he expects a job measurable in numbers: resin depth, corrosion, fracture risk, failure points. He does not expect the village itself—sun-struck stone, narrow streets, a bar that seems to hold the whole town together—or Lando Norris, the local guide with quick hands, a brighter smile than the canyon deserves, and the careful brightness of someone who has learned how to make himself livable to everyone but himself.
Oscar trusts systems, data, and the cold comfort of things that can be tested. Lando belongs to Rodellar in ways Oscar does not yet understand and keeps turning up in the middle of his work like a variable he cannot control.
As anchors fail, records surface, and old fractures in the community begin to show, Oscar is pulled into something larger than an inspection report: a village built on history, loyalty, and quiet omissions, and a man who has made himself load-bearing for everyone around him.
This is a story about risk, trust, and what it means to know the difference between a crack and a scar.
