Summary
It's been over three years since the House of Ice turned into ashes and dust. Having traveled the world for as long as their pockets could afford it, Wooyoung and San finally settle in a small town on the coast of South Korea. The beach is a short stroll away, their flower shop is doing well business-wise, and they finally have a place to call home.
But no matter what they do, they can't outrun their past. Ghosts reside in Wooyoung's mind, haunting his dreams and pressing down his ribcage every waking moment. Just because he and San escaped detection for so long doesn't mean no one is looking for them. Every day is an uphill battle against his fears, and with the possibility of executioners knocking at their door at any moment, even the haven he and San have made for themselves starts feeling like a cage.
Or maybe this is all in his head. Only one thing is certain—Wooyoung's fight for happiness is far from over.

San exhaled, a shaky sound that betrayed how awake he suddenly felt. “No. Just… caught me off guard.”
Wooyoung’s mouth quirked at that, a hint of a smile, though his eyes stayed serious. “So you don’t want me to move?”
The question landed heavy between them, thrumming like a pulse. San could only stare for a second, heart hammering, because it wasn’t teasing—Wooyoung meant it.
“…I didn’t say that,” San murmured finally.
