Summary
Wooyoung doesn’t hate his life, at least not too much. His line of work and duties is a tiring and a very demanding one too. There are days he wishes he hadn’t stepped into the School for Omega Rut Assistants, his own mother pushing him forward hoping he’d pay off their debts quickly.
His profession however, doesn’t change his dreams, doesn’t help with his longings because deep inside, so deep only him and Yeosang know about it, Wooyoung desperately longs for a mate, for a bite on his scent gland and a house full of pups looking like him and his beloved mate.----------------------------------------------------------
“Where’s your cover, Wooyoung?” San asks, his voice suddenly shaky, so different from what little he’s heard him until now. Wooyoung lifts his head and meets the Lord’s eyes, bravely keeping their gazes levelled.
“I was asked to trust you.” Wooyoung quickly explains and swallows, not sure anymore whose warmth he can feel between the two of them. The alpha stares at him, his gaze so heavy, so daring and enticing Wooyoung needs to look away for a second to calm down, to soothe his omega who’s trying to break free and just jump the wolf in front of him.

Every time they did this, San’s heart would break even more.
Because this was once someone he could spend every second with and never run out of words to say to. And even when there were no words, they could sit for hours in comfortable silence.
But for four years now their words had been meaningless, and their silence painful.
It wasn’t all Wooyoung’s fault. San just couldn’t find the strength to say what he really wanted to.
That he missed Wooyoung so bad that it hurt. That he felt so lonely and lost without him. That beyond his heartbreak and frustration the feeling that lingered above all else was confusion. That no matter how much he wracked his brain he just couldn’t understand how this had happened.
How the hell had Wooyoung ended up with someone else?
