These aren't enough to keep Simon's paranoia that one day you'll leave, meaning the thing to comfort him is writing down his feelings for you in his new notebook. However, it will make itself very clear that this was a terrible idea when Simon has a painstakingly long dream where his manifested paranoia, anxiety, and depression become horrible monsters that not only attack him but attack you as well. Simon and you make a long journey together to drag Simon out of his thoughts of suicide and his horrible nightmare.
