Summary
Delusional, this entire thing. Like some Make-A-Wish dream. I'm going to kill myself tomorrow; here's what I'd like for my last day on this mortal plane. To be fucked by a man who hasn't seen him that way in years. To stand in the shower and have someone wash his hair. To eat one last breakfast. To be held. And Jack, pitying him, still, because Robby's always been the one of the two of them who can't handle shit.

Summary
"Just a couple days," Robby said, because he couldn't say what he really meant. Couldn't say, I don't want to leave. Couldn't say, I don't want to go back to my empty condo and my packed bags. Couldn't say, I think I might be in love with you. “Until Duke's out of surgery. Then I'll figure out the trip."
Jack's jaw tightened. He heard the deflection, Robby knew he did, but he didn't push. Just nodded and reached for Robby's wrist tugging him back down.
"Okay, a couple days," Jack offered. "Or longer."

Summary
When his doctor breaks the news to him, Robby can’t say he’s surprised.
He’s not an endocrinologist, but he had put his diagnosis together before even booking his appointment. The hot flashes that left him dazed and sweaty, the random bouts of tachycardia that for once were not anxiety induced, the migraines whenever he smelled something strong enough to break through the haze of his meds -- he put two and two together and realized the warning label on his suppressants finally caught up to him.
