The boy raised his head, meeting Hao’s eyes. There was a lot less spark now, more dull defeat. “This is your fault, you know?”
“Mine?” Hao almost laughed at how incredulous that statement was, but he kept on a serious face. “Maybe if you hadn't—you know what, never mind.” He backtracked. He was not getting into this again, not right after they’d been kicked out of the restaurant. “I don’t want to talk about this anymore. What’s done is done, let’s be on our ways.”
The implied 'and hope that our paths never cross again' hung heavy in the air between them.
After an altercation at Hot Summer Garden, Hao and Hanbin's lives can't seem to stop intersecting, even when neither of them want it. Too bad Matthew falls in love with Hao's brother and enlists Hanbin's help to get closer to him.

Summary
Hanbin is so eager, almost heartbreakingly so. What would've happened to him if he never met Zhang Hao? He's unfailingly bright, a star that can't help but to draw light inwards and glow from the attention. The world would've chewed him up and spit him out. Thank God he has Zhang Hao to look out for him, to always be following one step behind, to drag him away and hide him when greedy hands try and covet him. That's a right that only Zhang Hao has earned.
