Sword nearly walks straight into him. He blinks, focuses, then squints up at Rocket through heavy lashes. The world snaps into clarity a little too suddenly. He yawns again, jaw cracking softly.
Rocket tilts his head. “Did you sleep at all?”
Sword gives him a look- flat, unimpressed, edged with the barest hint of malice. “Why do you think,” he says slowly, mockery dripping from every word, “I might be tired.”

Summary
Shuriken, due to the nature of his job, was quite proficient in hiding bruises. Did it involve some makeup that he had to steal from his sister? Yes, it did. But the Silver Shadow, vigilante of Thieves’ Den, couldn’t risk becoming plant fertilizer.
He wasn’t any sort of makeup expert (unless his arm design counted), and he’d had to search up how to hide bruises on incognito mode on his crappy laptop when he’d first become a vigilante. But now he could effectively hide his bruises without a second glance.
The issue? He was out of concealer.
And so, the Silver Shadow, the professional, the master of disguise, was going to a makeup store to find himself some concealer. (Not that boys couldn’t wear makeup. Shuriken is very supportive of everyone and how they choose to express themselves, you know. What kind of vigilante would he be?)

“It’s not like some normal cancer anyone can develop. It’s in my code,” he softly whispered, as if he said it aloud he would vanish. “And no one has ever fixed a cancer like this before, in the history of Robloxia.”
