Loid takes a sharp inhale, mesmerized by her sparkling wine eyes burning a hole in his bottom lip.
"Is that normal," she breathes, barely audible.
"That's normal," Loid assures back. It's not. Nothing about this, about them, is normal.
Yor nods, the tiniest movement of her head, eyes never leaving his lips. "Does it ever go away?" she asks, innocently. Like this could be an illness, a temporary affliction that will pass out of her system.
Loid exhales slowly. "God I hope not."

Summary
The amount of times Keith has woken up to Lances sobbing coming through the wall is heartbreaking at this point. And though Keith knows he's never been good at comfort or sympathy, leaving Lance like this without trying is just cruel. But comforting somebody appropriately is hard enough for Keith, let alone when you've got a big gay crush on that somebody.
