Summary
The insistent cramping of his stomach wouldn’t let up and he held back another whine of pain. Despite having just eaten he felt insatiable and he knew what he craved - he could hear the rush of it below his ear, pumping through his best friend's body.
The heat of Will’s soothing hand on his head bled into the cold skin of his scalp and made the pain a little more bearable. But Will’s presence also reminded him that he couldn’t just pretend to be okay, not after agreeing to be a team last night. So, in a tight, low voice, strained with need, he forced the words out.
“I’m so hungry, Will.”
Will looked down at him from where Mike lay against his chest, confusion and concern softening his features. “Hungry for what?”
Mike met his gaze, dark, aching, and desperate, and answered without thinking.
“You.”
(This dialogue isn't in the fic at the moment I'm still working on that chapter, but I promise it's coming!)
OR: Vampire Mike Wheeler craving the blood of his best friend. They work together to figure out what's wrong with Mike (he's a vampire) and attempt to hide it from the 13 other people living in the Wheeler House. Also apocalyptic Hawkins because that's what we deserved.

Summary
Standing at Will's door, looking at him for the first time in twenty weeks, is Mike Wheeler, and Will wants to slam the door in his face.
He doesn't. He can't.
"Hi," he tries weakly.
"Hey, Will." Mike gives him a lopsided grin, as if they hadn't both been pretending up until one minute ago that the last five, ten, fifteen years of their lives weren't real.

Mike arrives at Will’s college apartment three days before the anniversary of the night Will was taken. He's carrying fifteen years' worth of things left unsaid and a lot of hope for Will to hear him out.

With the lights already being a deep blue, flashing in and out of several other bright colors, the room finally lightens a bit. Enough for him to see clear silhouettes of the diverse crowd of people.
So clear, he can see a familiar figure.
A figure he never once forgot.
Regardless of it being already five years since he’s seen Will Byers, he can’t deny it’s him.
The second fresh beer is placed within his grasp.
He immediately grabs the bottle. His hand completely disregarding the freezing temperature, clamping it with anxiety.
Holy shit he might just be going crazy.

Summary
“Polar bear.”
Will is truly flabbergasted. He can barely process the words, they're so unexpected.
“What?”
“Your favorite animal is a polar bear.” Mike reiterates, “ Or was…anyways you really like them and I always thought it was so weird. Since that’s not a typical favorite animal, usually kids say something like lion or elephant or wolf but you didn’t. Yours is a polar bear and you said it was because of some documentary you saw about how the mother’s raise their cubs and protect them by themselves in the arctic and it really stuck with you. And every time I see one I think of you and that moment. But the quick trip came out with these new slushies that have a polar bear logo and the guys would always want to go after class and stuff and I would make up some dumb excuse about hating the flavors but it was a lie. I like blue raspberry, you know I like blue raspberry. It was just…every time I went into the fucking place all I saw were polar bears and all I could think about was you .” Mike finishes and his ears are tinted red and his nose keeps twitching.
Will doesn’t know what to say.

Summary
