Summary
Satoru stared at the wall and walked towards a steep cliff, the same one he did every night. It was dark and jagged, with no clue of how he got there or how long he’d been peering into the waters crashing below. The dark waves felt so familiar yet so unyielding in their disquiet. Mesmerizing. Unable to shake the impulse, he stepped off the ledge to greet them. His stomach turned, and time stood still until he came to a crashing halt and breached the cold sea. His body sank further until the frigid waters overtook his senses: his vision…his hearing…his feeling. Then he would be free.
Then, he would dance with long, black hair and yellow butterflies.
Following the loss of his beloved, Satoru relearns how to live with the help of his old, unconventional therapist.
