Summary
Some days, Harry has to work hard to just avoid.
He puts on clothes he bought after they were over; uses toothpaste they'd never used together; has coffee rather than tea. He takes the bus to avoid their old car and its familiar, fading smell of his cigarettes and passes the street with the bank because the other way has a flower shop with too many memories surrounding it.
Other days, he just needs to relinquish, let go and trust that he’ll be taken care of.
They probably shouldn’t be doing this — whoever’s heard of exes with benefits? — but they were each other’s first everything. Kiss. Sex. Love. Louis' the only one he's ever trusted to care for him like that.
His body’s not going to just accept that it’s over; his mind much less.

Or, it's the beginning of the OTRA tour and Niall's knee isn't what it should be, and Louis is there to help when he can.

"I'd just like to keep you safe and away from medical emergencies." Harry replies, putting his arms around Niall's neck and bringing him closer.
