“Anything! Any explanation is better! I am not anyone’s saviour. This mark is just...just some shiny shit from the Fade.”He’s not the hero they expected. He’s definitely not the hero they wanted. But Varric Tethras, Herald of Andraste, might just be the hero they’re all stuck with.
Oh well. At least it’ll make for a good story.

What would happen if a LOT more, fed up, survivors, from a Post Apocalyptic Earth, arrived fully armed, and prepared to do whatever it takes to carve out a new life? Including, but not limited to, full on infiltration of the Inquisition? What if every single one of them was a fan of the Franchise, with a united goal: Be the change you want to see before someone takes away that choice. Canon be damned.

There are plenty of things Varric and Hawke are good at: snide remarks, drinking the swill served at the Hanged Man, getting into trouble, nearly dying but still managing not to, witty one-liners…but sitting down and talking about their feelings? Eh, not so much. That goes double when the feelings in question are of a, uh, complicated nature. Or romantic. Or both. And Maker help them, but things have absolutely entered ‘both’ territory. Surely they’ll figure it out, right? Right. …right?
