“What the fuck, Rozanov?!” He says as soon as he’s certain there’s no one in earshot.
He leans back against the counter, the nonchalantness of it all only pissing Shane off even more. “What?” He says with a shrug, breaking the darkening gaze he had just a moment ago.
“Are you fucking serious? Making out with my girl-“ he pauses, watching Ilya’s brows raise in shock. “One of Rose’s friends? In a public fucking bathroom?” He finished finally.
Ilya just chuckles, no real humor behind it. “Oh so that’s why you are all mad, because he’s friends with your pretty little girlfriend?” His tone coming out a little more hurt than Shane had thought he would sound.

They're lying in bed, legs intertwined and bodies tangled together under the sheets, still naked from the night before. It's a quiet Sunday morning, sun peeking through the curtains and warming Shane's half of the bed. Ilya's hand curls at the nape of his neck, fingers working through the knots in Shane’s hair.
Ilya hums before, "You think you are not sweet?"

Shane opens his mouth to continue his rant before seeming to remember that he is still in the middle of the showers, where a few stragglers are furiously scrubbing soapy suds off their chests, rushing to finish and get out of Shane’s warpath.
“For fucks sake,” Shane groans, “Get the fuck out of here already! I’m trying to yell at your fucking captain!”
Ilya watches, delightedly, as his defensemen run out of the room with their tails tucked.
Shane doesn’t even wait for the last man to cross the threshold into the locker room before he is whirling on Ilya again.
“A hands-off rule? Who the fuck do you think you are?”

Campus nerd and golden boy Shane Hollander breaks up with Hockey captain and notorious fuckboy Ilya Rozanov because he wants to pursue other options.
