Chapter 4: Timestamp for S13 E5, Lucky Strikes. Luke doesn't know how someone could ever possibly have shot Penelope, but he does know that he'll do anything he can to make sure she's still ok.
Chapter 3: Timestamp for S12 E21, Green Light. When the teams finally manages to free Reid from prison, Luke still doesn’t want to admit that his vengeance on Shaw is as much for Penelope as it is for Spencer. But—this time, Penelope might have some idea about that.
Chapter 2: Timestamp for S12 E14, Collision Course. Penelope’s out in the field for the first time in ages, but with Reid in jail, her mind isn’t exactly on the case at hand.

This fic is inspired by Governed by Dreams—specifically the scene I wrote for S15E5, Ghost. I wanted that scene to be real, and not just in Penelope’s dreams—so this fic will be a slow burn, starting at S14E13 and building up to (and past) that point.
For readers of any of my other fics, I do indeed mean that this will be a slow burn! Nowhere near the level of smut that’s happened elsewhere (though I promise it won’t remain so forever). M is currently for canon-typical violence, but the rating will be raised to E when the slow burn finally pays off ;)

Summary
Inspired by S12E1, when Luke asks Penelope to look up sex and BDSM shops in Tempe and she has to bite her thumb for several seconds before she can proceed.
Luke has a proposition for a relationship of sorts, and Penelope can’t quite bring herself to refuse. But what happens when they can’t keep their feelings quite as separate as they think they can?
Follows the first part of S12, imagining what could have happened in the spaces between episodes. Will probably diverge from canon at some point.

But once he convinces her to ride out the storm with him at his place, can he also convince her that she does not, in fact, hate him? And more than that, how exactly is he going to control himself with Penelope around 24/7, maybe even in his bed?
Non-canon compliant, set sometime in the first year or so of Luke being at the B.A.U. E-Rating is for Chapters 3-5.
