Summary
⚠️ I first started writing this in third person then forgot and now it's mostly in first person ⚠️
"Well, I'm not a soldier," Harry snapped. "You don't get to order me into battle every time something weird shows up. I'm not your bloody-"
"Tom."
The name slipped out like a curse. Quiet, accidental, but sharp as shattered glass.
Harry froze.
So did Dumbledore.
It hung in the air for a second. Two. An eternity, maybe. Harry's hands, clenched at his sides, loosened just enough to tremble.
"What did you just call me?" he said, voice low. Controlled.

Orrrrr: Dumbledore calls Harry, 'Tom' and Harry slowly realizes more and more about the 'light' side and turns to the 'dark' side of magic

Summary
"The Gryffindor common room was all warm light and bad card tricks when the owl tapped the window—sleek, official, black ribbon on heavy cream. I cracked the seal and the world narrowed to tidy clauses and one ridiculous truth: betrothed, to Draco Malfoy"
"Later, in the library, he read it with that steady Malfoy glide, said “Well. That’s… tidy,” and gripped the table so hard his knuckles went white. “You’re freaking out,” I whispered. “Don’t be absurd,” he lied."
ORRRRRR....
Harry gets a letter from The Ministry of Magic, finds out he's betrothed to Draco Malfoy. They have to keep it from their friends make it seem like like are just dating, and next September their 'engagement' goes public.

Summary
Ron squinted at me as we walked toward the Great Hall. "Alright, spill it. What's with all the note-passing with Malfoy?"
"It was nothing," I said quickly. "We were just joking around."
Hermione looked far too amused. "Nothing? You blushed."
"It was just the handwriting comment!" I said, throwing my arms up. "He's got swirly letters, alright? Not my fault."
Ron wiggled his eyebrows. "So you're saying you like his handwriting. Next you'll be telling me you like his face."
I shoved him lightly. "I'm saying he's a friend. That's it. Just friends."
