Summary
While in England, Miles Edgeworth receives a call. Unable to answer, he lets it go to voicemail. That voicemail changes his life. Across the Atlantic Ocean, Phoenix Wright wakes up with the worst hangover of his life. He thinks he called Edgeworth last night, but he doesn’t remember why or what he said. Hopefully it wasn’t anything weird.
—
“Hey, Edgeworth,” slurred Phoenix Wright, drawing out the y sound in hey, like a flirtatious young woman. “How ya doin’, buddy? Thought—thought I’d give you a call. But it looks like I missed ya. Just my luck.” He sighed, and Miles could practically smell the alcohol on his breath through the speaker.

Summary
Apollo didn’t intend to develop a crush on Klavier Gavin. He also didn’t intend to sleep with Klavier Gavin. He certainly didn’t intend to do it multiple times. But, well, the sex is… amazing, and Klavier isn’t the douchebag Apollo thought he was. In fact, if Klavier didn’t keep saying it was a casual arrangement, Apollo could really see himself falling for him.

Summary
It wasn't just about the hair. It was about the fact that the person in front of him hadn't changed – it was still the same confident gaze, still the same serious brown eyes, still the same confident walk (which should have been slow, but again and again it was Klavier who couldn't keep up). Time, it turned out, wasn't a barrier – it was only a factor, only a deliberate mockery designed to make everything worse.
For example, giving Apollo long hair. Beautiful! Long hair. As if he knew how to properly comb and style them, as if he was used to it. As if Klavier didn't know him at all now. This, probably, would have been really easier. It's easy to understand that a completely new person doesn't need you, it's hard to pretend you don't care about an old... rival?
Or: Apollo returns to Japanifornia with old feelings and a new look. But who cares about that, right? Definitely no one has been pining all this time over an unrequited crush that suddenly left to rebuild an entire country...right?

Summary
“If you’re interested, the shade is 644 Sydney,” Klavier told him, probably just to make conversation. Apollo didn’t tell him that he’d known it was between 644 Sydney and 720 Icone. He didn’t tell him that he’d been driven to the brink of insanity and made the awful mistake of researching Dior the first time he’d seen the case in Klavier’s hand. He didn’t tell him that at this point it was an obsession, and treating every new shade like an investigation was the only way for him to keep his head on straight.
In fact, he didn’t tell him anything at all.
So Klavier kept wearing lipstick and Apollo kept thinking about it. He’d scroll through the catalogue of products and organize them by color and finish while his mind wandered to what they felt like. Would Klavier’s lips feel different against his own with a velvet finish versus a satiny one? Would they feel all that different bare? Which kind of lipstick would stain his skin the most as Klavier kissed his neck? How many kisses would it take to ruin the most long-lasting, kind?
He closed his laptop. This had to stop."
Or, Klavier gets into the habit of wearing lipstick every day and Apollo is really normal about it
