Summary
So, now he had a plan. He'd run and run till he got to that abandoned town that he'd heard so many stories about, what was it -- called again? Oakhurst? -- and then he'd build a grave for Louis, far away from those awful people who he'd trusted only for them to twist the knife of betrayal into him over and over. He'd then mourn him for a few days before finally joining Louis. Simple enough, right?

Upon closer inspection, Legs notices that it's not a kid, but rather an incredibly malnourished man. The man had bandages all along his arms running under his shirt, they looked to be dirty. He was so thin and short he looked delicate, breakable. His long brown hair looked dirty, like it hadn't been washed in days. On his hands in spots the bandages don't cover there's a slight marbled nature to his skin, his palms rough and calloused from some kind of manual labor.

What if Legundo was an evil vampire who still wants to fix Owen and Owen just wants to die.

“Saps. Didn’t know it’d be so easy to find you.”
Saps took a deep breath, closing his eyes as his hands began to shake at his sides.
“Fluixon. Didn’t know I’d be so easy to find,” he replied, hands trailing to reach into his inventory.
“-Don’t,” Flux warned from behind him, pressing the length of the blade against where Saps’ spine sat. “One wrong move and I sever some pretty important nerves. Would hate to see you be unable to run again.”
