"Which God is Nico's parent?" The man that looked half-horse, half-human was stacking some sort of papers.
Percy looked conflicted on how to answer the man's or, horse's question. But answered it nonetheless.
"He's um, human. Normal, not a demi-god. You know." His words at the end were drawn out.
The man turned from the papers to look at Percy. Sparring a glance at Nico. "Humans can't see through the mist Percy, you know that." Nico didn't understand, what's this mist thing?
Nico voiced his thoughts and in return the horse man looked at him confused, or angry. He couldn't tell.
Percy cleared his throat, "It makes it to where mortals don't see what we see; monsters, gods, our powers. Like... like how the girl you worked with didn't see the monsters in the restaurant. It only shows the human mind what it could, comprehend."
Nico was appalled. Although horse man wasn't looking too hot either.
But if other humans, "or mortals," couldn't see through the mist, why could he?

Kaneki huffed loudly, frowning he responded, "Yes Hide while I'm being chased by murderous, hungry ghouls or humans that want to make a weapon out of me. I stop to consider about how high I'm jumping." Kaneki deadpanned waiting for Hide's reaction.
Hide gave him his very own 'are-you-shitting-me-right-now' stares. He bit his lip.
"I mean did you at least take a ruler." Kaneki groaned face palming but a small smile managed to come forth from Hide's stupid, yet somehow lovable comments.

Summary
They’d been dating for over a year and Bernard still hadn’t met Tim’s family. Bernard knew that Tim was an anxious, paranoid mess, and that he was just trying to keep things under control, but still. Not knowing Tim’s family made their whole thing feel less. . .permanent. Easier for Tim to end when he got scared. Easier for Tim to leave Bernard alone. Again.
But Bernard was determined to make this work, because this past year had been the best year of his life and that was in large part due to Tim. So he’d done what normal, healthy people did in relationships and communicated his concerns to his boyfriend.
And Tim had proven, once again, that he actually listened to Bernard.
Or, Bernard bonding with the Batkids while also dealing with his trauma from his parents and from the cult. And maybe finding a family along the way.

Summary

While traveling across the lands, Naruto and Sasuke are forced to confront what lies between them. They make a lot of discoveries about themselves, their past, and their true feelings for each other.
Very slow burn, canonverse, Sasuke POV (he is an unreliable narrator at times, be warned!). Honestly my take on what should have happened at the end of the anime.
