Will was practically entranced as Robin spoke, and he saw how happy she was in her relationship. He wanted something like that for himself so badly it made his chest ache, “How obvious,” he asked breathlessly.
“Let’s say, the uh, snowball became an avalanche,” Robin whispered to him like a shared secret. Will glanced away for a moment.
