It had been six months since his passing. The smell of the ash still haunted his nose. The nightmares, neverending. His hands still recoiled at the touch of anything, in hopes he wouldn't remember the way the charred wood felt against the crown of his fingers. He never wanted this to happen, but sometimes, everything can't go your way.
It just couldn't be possible...he was with him that morning. Rockstar had been teasing their adopted daughter, Parfait. Parfait, was the only one to make it out. The only question that lingered in Mint's mind was, why?
Why him? Why did they kill him? Why did they think it was right, to snatch somebody's life, from in between his only love's grasps? Did they get a kick out of destroying Mint's life? Did they?
