Summary
The events of Satoru’s dream flash through his mind and the hand resting on Suguru’s chest clenches reflexively. I would burn this world down if I ever lost him. After all, Suguru is the only thing that keeps Satoru from forsaking the responsibility forced upon him ever since his birth. The only reason he still sees worth in saving the twisted society they live in is because of Suguru’s righteous sense of justice, and his endearing belief that Jujutsu Shamans exist to protect those weaker than them. Satoru doesn’t give a damn about the rest of the world, but unfortunately his world does.

Summary

The game was simple.
All he had to do was find the most composed, stick-up-his-ass older man in the room, and slowly take him apart. It had to be public enough to be thrilling, but private enough for plausible deniability. He’d watch that composure crumble as his target realized that some twenty-year-old twink was making his dick very inconveniently hard at some fancy event, and that there was absolutely nothing he could do about it.

“Do you believe in God?”
The question slipped out on its own, too honest, too exposed, and he wanted it back the instant it left him.
Suguru didn’t answer. He only closed the book in his lap and asked, “Do you?”
And Satoru, who had knelt in a hundred pews and felt nothing, opened his mouth to say no. He’d had the answer ready for years.
