The man in his arms continued with a quiet voice that could nearly be considered a whisper, "And there's another one right next to it, the same shape but bigger. That's the big dipper."
The Big Dipper and Little Dipper. Such silly names for a silly group of stars. He tried to find the big dipper, but Sharpness understood that perhaps he was just terrible at finding and connecting constellations. "I think I found it," he lied, but when he wasn't given a response, he looked down to see that Jude's eyes were already shut.
sharpness comes to retrieve a very drunk judelow in the middle of the night. although, he chooses not to process some new information in the mean time

Jude softly grinned, "You sound like a mother—or something, I'll be fine."
"What? I'm not your mom," Sharpness tried to dismiss.
"No? Not even gonna kiss my hand to make the pain go away?"
An awkward laugh was shared between them because they both knew that he was only joking. It was only apart of the joke when his voice got softer and increasingly unsure towards the end of his sentence. So when Sharpness cupped Jude's bandaged hand with both of his gloved palms, he would insist that it was only a joke when he leaned over and pressed his lips against the soft skin of his back hand.
jude had a bad day, and because of godis, it’s now sharpness’s job to get him to talk and cheer up.

"Jude I—fuck, I'm sorry…" Sharpness mumbled, "How badly did I hurt you?"
Jude only smiled softly, and Sharpness wished he would stop doing that already because there was nothing for him to smile about. And yet, as his bright eyes gazed up at him, Sharpness could only feel unworthy of the way it made him feel.
"It's fine. I know you wouldn't hurt me, and I wouldn't have allowed you to do anything if you could."

Summary
Jude is angry at Sharpness and at his cat, who, just like his owner, always tries to annoy him. The only reason he hasn’t kicked him out of his base is because his own rabbit would not like that.

Jude’s and Sharpness’s pets seem to be protesting against their owners. Neither of them understands what is going on, and they still have unresolved issues between them. In a situation like this, the only ones who can really change things are the ones you are not expecting.
