    Karl reached up to cradle his face again, ready for a kiss but not taking the plunge yet. He smiled when Sapnap’s eyes met his, one that he was sure was dopey and not attractive at all. Sapnap’s gaze, though, seared through him.

    “I wanna keep you here forever,” Sapnap said, so sincerely that Karl wanted to believe him.
