Summary
It has never bothered Rick, being mated to an Alpha by body, because Daryl is an Omega in heart and mind and that's all he's ever needed. Omegas need Alphas because they are programmed to submit and take, and the fact that Daryl doesn't have those instincts but still wants to anyway is more powerful than any advantage biology might give him.
