I took issue with how smeyer treated my boy, as many of us have, and I took it upon myself to re-write the series from Jacob's POV and fix some of the problems I had. This is basically a head canon of how I would write twilight, were I ever given such a job - which I would like to clarify; nobody asked for this. Summary
Bella Swan is fully recovered from James' hunt, and has enjoyed a pleasant summer with her boyfriend, Edward Cullen. Troubles weigh on his mind, and deep fears rise to the surface for them both.
This is a canon-divergent reimagining of New Moon; I have always wanted to see Bella heal from the trauma of Edward leaving, and to bring light to the frankly abusive tendencies he has. The first big change happens in the second chapter, but I am aiming to create a more horror-centralized theme. It was right there, Meyer!
There will be a lot of pack content later on, and lots of twists that I wish were explored in the original. The ending will be VERY different from canon, and Jacob will be the sunshine boy we all know and love.Bookmarked by ivyamory

Even as a lieutenant under Per Haskell he’d always been in charge of his own schemes; Nina doubted the former Dregs boss had ever ordered Kaz to do something he hadn’t planned to do anyway. And here he was, placing that control at her feet. She did not take the responsibility lightly.
The last person he’d trusted with this hadn’t taken it seriously. As he turned away from her to shuck his slacks, Nina spotted the barest blush of the bruising that still lingered on Kaz’s back.
