Summary
Ten years after Voldemort's fall, the wizarding world has slipped into a new conflict called the Book Wars. Severus learns to navigate through his suffering, through a relationship. He navigates PTSD and the fall out from the war with the help of an old acquaintance, an unspeakable. The pressures of his role reach a peak and he realises that true bravery is recovery, it’s moving on.
We get an inside look at the workings of the ministry and the role of Unspeakables too, which I find fascinating. The story covers PTSD and the impact it has on relationships and daily life too, it starts during goblet of fire.

“Nine— that’s almost as long as us!” Draco gapes at her.
Ginny sighs. “Yep. Guess I’m joining your ‘I thought I hated someone but turns out I had a massive crush on them the whole time’ club.”On the way home from her latest Quidditch match, Ginny stops for drinks with her favourite brother and hears all about how stuck-up Phlegm has broken his heart. Merlin, she hates that witch. She hates her.
