Summary
Wholly explores how things may have gone a little sideways if Walker had made his way to the ranch through different means. I’ll tackle that infamous barn kiss and then some, but ultimately circle back to what makes us love and adore the most fascinating couple in television history ;)
At the end of the day, it’s always Rip & Beth… just having a little fun with a bit more backstory and adding some twists here and there while loosely following the timeline of the show.

Summary
“Beth.” He warns.
Shifting, her hand comes to rest with its palm flat down on the place where her head was lifted from, tossing a look of faux-innocence up at him as she props her chin onto her wrist.
“What?”
This, he feels, is exactly the work he’ll be putting in.
Set post-series, with a little feature from Carter.

Summary
Beth stilled. Stomach twisting in that electric way she hated and liked and craved all at the same fucking time. She looked up, heat rising in her chest, challenge in her eyes, in the way she purposefully twitched her lips.
But Rip didn’t budge. When did he fucking ever? Towering above her, he was all power, indomitable, like gravity itself, his left hand owning its place on her lower back.
“Oh no you don’t,” he told her, voice a low gravel. “You’re gonna stay right here, just like this. Bent over. And you’re gonna get your reminder about table manners, how you speak to your father, how you behave when there’s a fourteen-year-old menace in the room taking fսcking notes—and how you’re too old for temper tantrums.”

Summary
Beth hasn’t been naïve since she was thirteen years old, when she learned, all at once, that her mother was not the invulnerable, unfeeling machine Beth thought she was, but instead a human being, with breakable bones and conditional love. Somehow, at thirty-six, she gains back her naivete. Somehow, standing in yet another perfect meadow a twenty-minute ride from her new home outside Dillon, bracketed in her husband’s arms as he whispers his love for her right into her ear, she thinks that all the things that could break them are behind them now. She thinks she’s free, but that’s a child’s thought.
