“If two people sleep in a bunk bed, do they have to share a monster, or do the monsters have to cuddle?”
This is a cute fic about two monsters called Delayna and Emris who have to work and live together when their kids move in together. In this fic, monsters protect their kids with their lives, like guardian angels. They follow kids around all day to protect them and are only visible at night. So at night, they hide under beds to ensure the kid's safety. Delayna and Emris have to sleep under one bed since their kids sleep in bunk beds together, it's a forced proximity spin on the "only one bed" trope." These two monsters don't like each other at first, but as the story progresses, their feelings become... complicated.
