Light seems opposite himself, reflexes reversed, and memories missing. He has this wide-eyed innocence too fallible to be feigned. It’s like someone scooped out a chunk of him and his mind, in the rush to repair itself, got a few things wrong.
Namely, his reaction to pain.
Removing his memories of the Death Note made Light a masochist. L tests this hypothesis.
