But now, pinned beneath him, breathless and aching, Soobin looks into Yeonjun’s eyes and sees something too familiar. It’s the same wild spark Yeonjun gets whenever he argues with Beomgyu, too intense, too feral, too charged. That unreadable look that always flashes across Yeonjun’s face when Beomgyu annoys him doesn’t seem to be just rage– no, it's clearly something more tangled, a weird mix of frustration and… lust.
At that, Soobin finally understands that his boyfriend doesn’t just hate Beomgyu– he hates that he wants him.
Once Soobin realises his boyfriend’s hostility towards their beautiful, new roommate is fueled less by anger and more by concealed, smoldering lust, he’s quick to turn the situation to his advantage and have some fun with it.
