“How are you even getting there?” Ron demanded, “'Cause if you want to floo, it looks like we both need to go back up to the castle,” he cried triumphantly.
The answer to his question came in the form of a sudden insistent tugging at the sleeve of Harry’s robe. He flinched back, and looked down to find the skeletal head of doe-eyed Thestral following the path of his hand in an attempt to lick off the blood that coated his arm. Summary
Regulus Black is a qualified neurology doctor and training to become a neurosurgeon at only 23. Having moved back to London to escape his parents after they moved to France when he was 15, Regulus is doing fine. He’s qualified, he’s already progressing his career, has a great set of friends, and is building a solid reputation as one of London’s best young doctors. He hasn’t spoken to Sirius since his older brother ran away over seven years ago and he doesn’t care, because he doesn’t speak to any of his family anymore and after all, Sirius was the one who left him behind.
And then James Potter walks in to the ward one day to give his mother some lunch, claiming that all hospital food is an abomination, and everything comfortable in Regulus’ life comes crashing down.

Summary
The war left its mark on everyone it touched. Draco knows this, he knows this as he sits in this muggle hell-hole he's been mandated to attend once a week. It didn't occur to him, however, how it may have changed those on the other side of the battle.
When Draco finds himself in the same place as The Boy Who Lived, over 10 years after the war, he's rendered nearly speechless at the dramatic change in almost everything about Harry Potter.
Draco is not rendered speechless often.
