Summary
The Kingdom of Aoba Johsai has never seen as much bloodshed as there was on the intersection of Imperial Road on the same night, 14 years after, as Iwaizumi's father betrayed the crown. The same night Oikawa's dear mother, the Queen, was murdered in cold blood with a crow carved into her lifeless hand. That night had sparked the 14-year-long feud with the Kingdom of Karasuno, whose royal symbol is a crow. When Oikawa is forced to go to Karasuno to negotiate a treaty with Prince Kageyama, he's met with a familiar face and painful memories.

Summary
Watching Iwaizumi like this, Tooru feels like a spectator of his life, not like he’s actually here, trying to be a part of it. It’s bizarre. They never used to need to fill every silence when they revolved around each other like planets in orbit - unequivocal, absolute. This insecurity is like a sudden knife to Tooru’s gut carving out the reality of the matter, which is, ultimately, that he doesn’t know how to be around Iwa-chan anymore.
It feels like they’re a rubber band being stretched back back back, pulled taught with a tension that will only resolve itself when it snaps. Tooru doesn’t know what it means for them if they let it snap.
