He knows it’s there from the sound alone, from the high-pitched, repetitive rubber horn sending a cold shiver right down his spine. It bounces, high and low, and Billy’s like the opossum they found in Stu’s attic the other day. Frozen dead. Possibly about to be disemboweled.

Summary
The gym's right at the end of the hallway, next to the emergency exit, and there’s a narrow window in the door that Billy can peer through. He suddenly feels silly, like a student that’s too scared to knock on the principal’s door, and he’s about to turn away when he sees a tall, lanky guy dive into a handstand, his grey shirt sliding down to his chest to reveal a narrow strip of pale skin. He stays upside down for a moment, then jumps back onto his feet, sneakers squeaking on the floor. There’s something familiar about him, the way his baggy clothes hang loose around his frame, the ruffled, blonde hair–
Huh. Of course, Stu Macher.

Or: The AU that no one's asked for. Billy does court-ordered community service and finds himself watching Stu - former hallway menace turned b-boy volunteer - a little too closely. Pining and hip-grinding ensue (among other things).

“A bet,” he repeats, opting for restraint. “See how much blood we can spill.”

“You’re such a pervert,” He murmurs, ‘cause Stu really is quite the brute— he’s lucky to have Billy because he can’t think of a woman who would want to be with the guy for very long, not to mention satisfying his ravenous appetite. He doesn’t want to think about the implications of that thought, what that makes him for staying with Stu and fucking him every other day (at least), cursing his subconscious.
He watches the whites of Stu’s teeth as he smiles. “Just how you like me, baby.”
It’s the same self-assured tone he always has right before they start fucking, he can pinpoint it from hearing it in bathroom stalls, behind the bleachers like some fucking cheerleader, in this very room—
It happens in what feels like the span of a second— suddenly Stu is on him and he’s on Stu and they’re kissing and he couldn’t for the life of him tell you who initiated it. He’d like to believe it wasn’t him for his own peace of mind.
