“1, 2, 3, 4.”
The music pierced through the dingy garage. The sounds of the guitar carried through the whole area. The drums came in right as they should. The fingers strumming went back and forth over the bass strings, playing the chords to a near perfect degree. A large hand settled over the strings of the guitar, plucking away to bring the opening of the song together. Mike Wheeler stepped up to the microphone.
And Will Byers was enraptured.
