Micro barely makes it one step before Thomas reaches out and gently grabs onto his wrist. He tilts his head to try and get a good look at the other's face, yet Micro simply turns his head away.
Thomas frowns.
“Micro," he calls out gently. Thomas lightly tugs and Micro lets himself be pulled back. "Why are you here.”

“Alright that’s it.” Cass puts her bottle down and gets up, pushing her friends apart. “We’re done.”
Cynikka turns to her with a pout. “But Cass!” she whines. “He keeps threatening my volcano!”
But Cass remains firm. “Yeah,” she says before pointing over her shoulder with her thumb. “And your brother looks like he needs to go to the hospital.”
Behind her, both Saparata and Fluixon stop pulling at each other’s hair and sit up. Their clothes are all rumpled up and, somehow, faint bruises have begun to bloom over their exposed skin.
Saparata frowns up at them. “He deserves it.”
Fluixon splutters. “What the fuck?!”
Saparata smacks his hands on Fluixon’s face, aggressively squishing his cheeks. “You framed me for multiple assassinations!”
“It’s just a boardgame!”

Any of the fics in this series that directly take place during something in The Hermit Coffee Co. or references directly to something from it will be marked as "Work inspired by an existing work" (or whatever it's called) but know that they ALL are and I'm just trying not to clog up that section that shows up after each chapter.
