“Hell--”
A gruff, loud voice interrupted his one-word greeting. “Your little bakery nerd boyfriend and his stupid animal shit sidekick wanted to fight today! Can you believe that weak piggy thought he could beat me at my own games? Thinking I couldn’t handle an eating contest..pfft...so that’s why I had to eat like 30 croissants, show that kid he ain’t shit.”
Tomioka didn’t even know if he had eaten that much bread in his entire lifetime, let alone one sitting. The stranger on the other side of this call was definitely impressive. “...good for you?”
It went silent, like the other guy was checking his own phone. “Wait! You’re not Genya, fuck!!”

Summary
Another pulse of pain radiated from Kiyoomi’s wrists and he cursed, pressing his eyes shut and holding the limb to his chest. He rocked once, the smallest sob breaking from his lips as it traveled down his body. His knee shouted in agony next and he fell forward until his stomach was pressed against the joint.
“‘Omi?” Atsumu’s voice was a welcome distraction and a thousand knives into the mental home of pain.
Kiyoomi didn’t respond, didn’t- couldn’t. His lips wouldn’t move despite his best efforts, his mind screaming like a maniac to get him to say something.
He said nothing.
Sakusa Kiyoomi has had chronic pain since he was young and he had always hidden it. Taking the pills before it hit, avoided people on bad days. But when it strikes in the middle of the night, what can he do but let his boyfriend take care of him.

Summary
Tanjiro gulped and begged himself not to cough from his own spit. He truly wasn’t a shallow person. Appearances meant nothing if the personality was horrible, and convincing flirtations from someone who seemed kind didn’t mean anything unless Tanjiro knew who that person was outside of watchful eyes. He had two whole small crushes in his entire life: the adopted grandson of his neighbor because he was young and thought Giyuu was the coolest, but it only turned out to be admiration as he let Giyuu treat him like a younger brother; the other was when he had to help the transfer student in 10th grade, thinking Kanao was adorable and thoughtful, which was half-wrong. She was adorable with her quiet smiles and butterfly hair tie, but she was an overthinker, and Tanjiro had to look after her in a way that was eerily similar to how he watched after Nezuko.
This was just going to be another one of those easy crushes. Just because Kyojuro was flirty and boisterous and clearly responsible didn’t mean he was compatible enough to be the love of Tanjiro’s life. Kyojuro probably acted like this with everyone! Tanjiro certainly wasn’t the only one he tried to romance like this. If it was romancing at all.
