Summary
“I am sorry for what must have happened,” Pedri told him, meaning it. “I am sorry for the choices you felt you needed to make.”
“You will make the same choice, too,” Lewy said. “For your career. For the Ballon d’Or campaign that I suspect must be about to launch for you. To protect your … friend. You do not know yet that you will make that choice. You are still debating. Unsure. But there will come a day, inevitably, that you choose yourself and your god-given talent. And I’m here to tell you that when that day comes … it is okay. When you make that choice, you will have doubts and regret. You may even regret it for the rest of your life. But a talent like yours is its own justification. You owe everything to the potential in yourself. Your football is your gift to the world. You are not required to burn the world down and sacrifice it.”
There, Pedri thought. That is the difference between us.
“But I am sure," Pedri said calmly, "and I would burn the world down for him."
Or, Ferran and Pedri's new relationship reminds Robert Lewandowski of the love he once sacrificed for football.

Summary
They were always just friends. At least, that’s what they kept saying.
But between shared beds, quiet car rides, and hands that linger a second too long, Ferran starts wondering when “just friends” stopped feeling like the truth.
Rumours start to spread, silence gets heavier, and somewhere between friendship and something neither of them is willing to name, everything begins to crack.
And when an offer from Liverpool forces everything unsaid into the open, pretending stops being an option.

Summary
“What is it, Pedri?” Ferran asks, splaying out his hand against Pedri's thigh, thumb brushing underneath his shorts. Pedri continues to look everywhere but at him, so Ferran squeezes his leg, insisting, “What is it?”
“You said Llorente is your best friend in the dressing room,” Pedri says in an annoyed tone, still refusing to meet Ferran’s eyes.
Ferran can’t help but laugh out loud at that.
or: Pedri gets jealous Ferran says someone else is his best friend in the National Team. Ferran is having the time of his life.

Summary
He watched Ferran’s silhouette in the weak light that filtered through the curtains, his mind replaying what he’d said earlier—"useless," he’d called himself. Something in Pedri’s chest cracked at the word. Ferran was everything to Pedri—his second home, his partner, his best friend—but right now, he could only see himself as a failing footballer. Pedri wasn’t sure how to help him find his way back to his old self, but he had to try.
OR
Ferran's world takes one hit after the other, and every time he falls apart, Pedri tries to put him back together like it's second nature. He never questions the tenderness he feels towards Ferran. But what happens when the cruel reality of football turns their lives upside down?
