It's 1899. The country is currently having a war for its independence and freedom and everything was a mess-- the government and the military itself. Seungmin knows that he doesn't have time for whatever is going on in front of their house. He doesn't have time for this, or if he does, he still doesn't care. He was in the middle of studying when he heard a noise of a gun. Is the war happening? Still haven't. All he sees is just a bunch of soldiers
And the Lee Minho. Ah, yes. The Lee Minho. The oh-so-famous boy general. The Boy General is known for being brave and a favorite soldier of the president. And also known as Romeo with every Juliet on the street they said. Seungmin scoffs, ah, he shouldn’t have checked what happened downstairs.
And maybe if he didn’t, maybe he wouldn’t see him. Maybe he would not lock his eyes with him. And maybe the boy general wouldn’t chase him instead of guarding the seashore against the Americans’ arrival and attack.
“Ihaharap kita dito sa altar at papakasalan kita, Kim Seungmin. Pangako ko yan sayo. Pagkatapos ng digmaan na ito.”
Maybe if he didn’t, he wouldn’t fall in love with the man that they called the boy general instead.
