Voulez-vous?In a span of five months, Andrea (Andy) Sachs and Emily Charlton had managed to become effortlessly best friends, twenty years after having worked together as Miranda Priestly's assistants at Runway.
Now Andy was back working at Runway, this time as a Senior Features Editor.
The company would be celebrating its 70th Anniversary in a lavish gala, held in Mykonos, Greece.
As much as Andy wished her best friend to join her in this trip to Greece, she knew it would be quite impossible, for Emily had a harsh history with Runway.
In the meantime, Andy was feeling overwhelmed by her drab relationship with her boyfriend Peter. She fully despised the idea of bringing Peter as her plus one to the trip.
Greece, however, found a way to become a scenario of passionate twists and inevitable fashion scandals.Heavily inspired by the musical Mamma Mia, as a Greek romance should be. And just like in the musical, a few people may come join the party uninvited.

Summary
Andrea and Emily had spent twenty years apart after Andrea left Runway. They both changed but now that they found each other, old feelings ressurface. The problem is, Andrea has now a boyfriend and she is very happy with him (or at least she conviced herself that she is). And Emily can't possibly fall in love with her new friend, she woudn't bear the heartbreak of losing Andy after being rejected.
Or, after the end of DWP 2, Emily and Andrea finally act on their feelings for the other. It just takes them a little time to get there.

It’s supposed to be a joke. But as Emily reads the explicit details out loud, the sarcasm dies, their easy grace vanishes, and the room becomes heavy.
