“What’s wrong?” Chakotay asked and gave Janeway a once-over.
She was sitting on a bed, looking annoyed- good, he thought. Not his favourite, but better annoyed than sick or hurt.
“Knowing the patient as well as I do,” the Doctor said, one eyebrow raised and looking at his tricorder, “I have to say that I am surprised that I have not felt compelled before to call Protocol Janeway Alpha Zero One. But here we are, Commander.”
Chakotay only nodded, looking at her again, and where there was mild inconvenience just a moment ago, there was now fury.
“What is Protocol Janeway Alpha Zero One,” she barked at them.
“I’ll inform Tuvok,” Chakotay told the Doctor.
“Will someone tell me what the HELL is going on here?” she didn’t so much ask but demand, looking between Chakotay and the Doctor, and if looks could kill…
