“Any funny business and you’re done for.” Anran hissed at Mizuki one last time before walking away. “Wuyang, come.” She demanded as the younger was still rooted in place, still smiling at Mizuki.
“I’m glad you’re alive.” He said before turning around to follow his sister.
“Seems like you’ve already made some friends.” Kiriko grinned and stood next to Mizuki. His eyes were still fixed on Wuyang’s muscular back.
“What can I say, I’m irresistible.”

“Have you ever recorded a song?” Mizuki didn’t know why he said those words. Maybe he had been hypnotised by the clarity of Wuyang’s laugh. Maybe he just wanted to make conversation.
“Uhm no, not really…”
The next words left his mouth before Mizuki could even stop them. “Do you want to help me with our next album? Sing a few lines for me?”
“But I can’t even sing.” Wuyang’s smile faltered.
“I think you sound beautiful.”

“What is this place even?” Mizuki looked around and the man gave him a sweet smile, hands working fast on a strawberry daiquiri for Juno.
“What do you mean?” The bartender tilted his head a bit, smile still on his face.
“It’s not really a bar, is it?” Mizuki looked around, his eyes landed on the long stage. “And it’s not a club either.”
“It’s the Lotus Lounge.” The man chuckled.
“It’s not really a Lounge as well.” Mizuki deadpanned and raised the eyebrow with the piercing. He earned another chuckle from the man.
“Trust me, you’ll enjoy your time here.” The bartender placed the finished drinks in front of Mizuki. “And if you want to get out of here, you know where to find me.” He gave Mizuki a wink.

Mizuki saw Wuyang dancing on stage in a crop top and couldn't help but take Wuyang home with him.

Summary
Wuyang is a mermaid prince who frequents the shores of a seaside town, and Mizuki is an assassin staying in said town and posing as a young fisherman. While Mizuki is figuring out who exactly his target is, he meets Wuyang. With blood staining Mizuki's hands, and the merman's starry eyes fixed on him, he is convinced that he is definitely one of the worst people ever.
