Yhwach is dead and they can finally go back home...
Except Ichigo's father decides to become the next Soul King making him a prince. With this new status, Ichigo will do everything he can to protect his family and friends. No matter what... even if it means a political marriage.
Uryu knew there would be consequences for his decisions during the war and is ready to face them. Although he didn't expect an arranged marriage or to be Soul Bound. It gets more complicated when he starts seeing a woman who looks like his mother.
As their feelings start to develop, it become obvious there is more going on than simple politics. Mysteries thousands of years old surround them, the Shinigami, Quincy, and even the very palace they aren't allowed to leave. It is up to them to bring it to an end. That is, if they can get past the secrets and deceptions everywhere. It's hard to understand a curse when they don't even know about it. Let along break it.
