Summary
When Eddie died, everything had clicked into place. For once, he'd been brave enough. For a moment, Richie had gotten to hold him.
Now Eddie's back. Some mysterious force has lifted him out of the ground and set him back on his feet, and he's going to have to learn to walk on his own for once. Meanwhile, Richie is still mourning, because he's always known better than to hope.
Also featuring: the turtle's attempts at therapy, an ill-advised stint as a telephone operator, the most awkward coming out in history, the Lumberjacks Olympic Pine-a-Thon, and some George Romero shit.

Summary
“I was horny, alright?” Eddie says, his cheeks flaming. “I was horny. I am horny.” He heaves a sigh, avoiding Richie, who he can see staring at him from his periphery. “I’m lonely and I’m pathetic and I’m sick of jerking off. I was kind of hoping I’d at least get laid if nothing else came out the stupid date.”
Richie has the decency to pause, and look back toward the television. “Oh.”
"Yeah, oh."

Summary
There was a bright and modern looking cafe on the corner of Beaver and Broad Street.
Eddie passed it daily on his way to work, and even though he never slowed down, he’d sometimes imagine himself inside: ordering, paying, sitting under the warm lights and sipping a hot cup of Joe. Maybe looking out at the world framed between the long legs of ever-present Manhattan scaffolding.
Then he’d remember he was pushing forty and was neither modern nor warm and he’d walk right past it, just like he had every other weekday for the past ten years, to sit at his computer at his wall-facing desk and sip whatever herbal concoction Myra had prepared in his thermos.
It was kind of funny how throwing that thermos in the trash was what made the divorce feel final.
