Summary
"Y'know, you have a starin' problem," Simon commented, voice rich with playful warmth, dropping into something undeniably flirtatious—far removed from their earlier professional interaction. "You do it throughout all of my lectures."
John froze, eyes darting away quickly, embarrassment fierce and immediate. "Fuck, sorry…"
Simon tutted gently, stepping closer, the gravel crunching softly beneath his boots. He reached out slowly, gently catching John’s chin with careful fingers, tilting his face back up until their gazes locked again. "I like when you look at me."
John's breath caught sharply, chest tightening with anticipation. He leaned unconsciously into Simon's touch, eyes wide, earnest, searching for confirmation. "You flirt with all your students like this, or…?"
Simon laughed quietly, a soft, honest sound, thumb brushing tenderly along John's jawline, igniting another fiery burst of heat within his gut. "No," Simon confessed gently, his voice deepening into something earnest, vulnerable. "It's a line I haven't crossed—until you."

Summary
You were raised to be good. In a town that worshiped silence and called desire a sin, you learned to swallow every longing whole. The preacher’s daughter: pure, obedient, untouched.
Then came John Price. Thirty-seven. A retired solider with calloused hands and eyes that made you forget how to pray.
He promised no salvation; only euphoria, ruin, and the kind of heaven you weren’t supposed to crave so much.

Summary
As a criminal profiler, I'm trained to read minds, not fall for one. Assigned to Task Force 141 to catch a demon from Ghost's past proves more difficult than anticipated, because the masked man I need answers from swears he will never trust me.
He won’t even let me say his name.
But, despite our mutual hatred, a spark kindles between us. And since fires don't ask for permission to burn... we're about to go up in fucking flames.
