    Natasha grows up with a less-than-ethical training regimen and a scarred over left hip. She resolves herself to never having a soulmate - love, after all, is for children. (And Steve. He deserves one good thing in his life.)

And sometimes you’re an incentive, an additional bargaining chip to sweeten the deal, but only if you want to. From what you’ve seen so far, you would not mind that.
