    Summary

Les Amis haven't heard from Enjolras since the end of their Sophomore year of college, when he dropped off the face of the Earth. Now, a year and a half later, in the middle of the night, they find him again, hurt and much different than they remember. There's a lot of catching up to do for Les Amis, and a lot of healing for Enjolras. Everyone is overwhelmed. Long story short it's about found family, love, learning to be a healthy human, and how to find a home. Also it will be gay.

    Summary

The stars were burning in the night sky. The hallways were dark, only lit by the pale emergency lighting above the doorframes. They tinted the hard wood floor and walls green, leaving the rest of the corridor in black shadows. The staircase beyond the glass door across the hallway, on the contrary, was floodlit and drenched in yellow. The harsh light there hurt the eyes of the late passers-by, the single young man who made his way upstairs was squinting against the lamps suspended from the ceiling. He yawned and padded further upstairs, passing one hallway after another, setting one foot in front of the other.

Grantaire makes a late night discovery that tips his world upside down as he enters unknown territory.

“You'd think they'd be more into living green, what with all art being just a recycled sludge of ideas from all who came before them.”
“Originality is the myth of capitalism,” Enjolras said, avoiding the loose cobbles of the plaza and the sludge that lay therein. “Where are we going?”
    “Museum,” Grantaire said.

Temporarily moving abroad certainly widens all horizons.

Feat. an abundance of promenades, unsafe painting practices, subtle but lovingly placed mentions of tattoos, arguments over Italian pastry, debates over French cooking, enough European references to satisfy my heart, harmless but copious flirting, and maybe one cat.

    Summary

While the tones of the siren repelled the merfolk and lured the humans, Grantaire was unaffected by its beauty. It was one of the few benefits of being stuck between worlds as not quite a human and not quite a merman. As such, he spent his days guiding ships away from a lone siren’s temptation. He alone was free to listen to this peculiar siren rant about the oddity of human culture to keep himself sane in his isolation.

Or, a story in which Enjolras is a lonely pescatarian siren, Grantaire is a hideous fish-monster, and both are outsiders finding comfort in human friends.
