Summary
“Doesn’t this remind you of Taiwan?”
This time Jisung does choke on his drink. Hyunjin has enough consideration to pat him on the back as he coughs and sets down his glass. When he does look at him again, Hyunjin has a smile on his lips.
“I think you and I remember Taiwan differently,” Jisung says, once he’s done hacking up a lung.

Summary
Jisung was twenty years old when the world went up in flames. His world as he once knew it was shattered. Completely alone, stranded in a country with no familiar face, he was doomed from the start to trudge through this nightmare unleashed on Earth.
The undead. Walkers. People who were infected were damned to lose themselves, their sanity, and their sense of self, and become these flesh-eating monsters. Monsters that were supposed to be fictional, that were supposed to forever remain a figment of their imagination and nothing else. He couldn’t do this. Jisung wasn’t cut out for this world.
However, one fateful encounter with a certain boy would change everything.

Summary
It seems Hyunjin registers immediately that Jisung’s blood flow has redirected to one critical spot, for his eyes widen momentarily. “Already?” he mumbles, sliding a hand up his cheek. “You want me that bad?”
He nods eagerly. Yes. Yes, he does. Is it embarrassing? God, Jisung hopes not, because he stands no chance of holding any feelings back, here. He feels weirdly vulnerable, even though Hyunjin is the one who’s half-naked and crawling all over him.
Oh, he realizes distantly. This is a lap dance? He’s giving Jisung a lap dance? In front of the smattering of old men who go to a strip club on a Tuesday?
Or: Jisung isn't quite sure what Hyunjin means when he says he's a dancer.

Summary
Hyunjin looked at the road he’d come up on, the dark stretch of it, and then scanned the empty spaces between the trees. Even with his enhanced vision, he saw nothing. But his heart began to beat faster anyway, at the mere thought that he might see eyes, glinting in the dimness as they stared back at him.
It was too remote a location for there to be a vampire out here. They kept to the cities, where their prey lived in droves. But his sunburst was beginning to burn all the same, a prickling and agitated kind of sensation, like a snake coiling to strike.
Hyunjin knew what it meant. It had been a while, but he still knew.
