"Oh, trust me love," He drawled and he grabbed her jaw tightly, tilting her face up to his with his palm. Everywhere their skin connected electrified her; she could feel the sparks flying from his hands and rattling her bones. Draco Malfoy has been a recluse for the better part of a decade, and no one seems to know why. The Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures converted the Manor into a safehouse for newly-turned magical beings, and Hermione is the first to set foot there in years. She realizes quickly why there have been reports in Wiltshire of howling at the moon…

Strange things, dreams. How much credence should we give to where our subconscious takes us?
There were many things Draco did not need in his Sixth Year. He did not need Theodore Nott implanting strange dreams in his head, for one.
In the ensuing years, he did not need to constantly remember that blissful, impossible dream. He further did not need Potter bursting into his mostly turned-around life to embroil him in a conspiracy at Azkaban.
