Summary
Atsumu's family planned to marry him to a rich white lady on the east coast. The noble family had started their cross over the ocean, as they get attacked by the ruthless pirate crew of the Black Jackals.
The Miya twins are captured for ransom.

Summary
“Your Highness,” he pants out with his hands on his knees as though he had been running, “there is something you must see.”
Kiyoomi lifts a brow. “Is it urgent?”
The lack of an answer tells him enough, so Kiyoomi briskly steps past him.
“It’s a painter.”
His steps come to a halt, the night’s breeze whisking past his face. Not a single painter comes to mind when he thinks about it, and he doubts his Royal Advisor would bring up something so out of the ordinary had it not have anything to do with him.
Kiyoomi turns his body halfway, hands behind his back. “A painter? What of this painter?”
“You must see it.” His Royal Advisor glances around them, then leans in with a hand cupping the side of his mouth. “The talk of the town claims they are reminiscent of your novels.”
The words grab fiercely at Kiyoomi’s attention; make his eyes widen and eyebrows raise with surprise and intrigue. Nobody knows that he is the novelist behind all the stories that have made their way into nearly every home of the village. He is aware of how popular his stories are, but enough to make someone paint for it? Kiyoomi has never heard of such an occurrence.
“Show me,” he demands.

"Sakusa clearly said that he was against it. I should know since ya've been whining over texts ta me for the past few days,” he spoke and grabbed some bird swings to inspect them further. "An’ now ya just want ta go and buy some without ‘im knowin’?"
"Yeah, basically,” Atsumu answered and put another bag of seeds into the shopping cart.
"Ya’re crazy."
"C’mon, 'Samu. We need ta get this over with before the guilt comes risin’ up an' then there's no way I'll ever have birds! Ya understand, yeah? This 's the only chance I have!"
or: Sakusa refused to get birds as pets, so Atsumu took the matter in his own hands even if it meant not telling his boyfriend anything about it.
