Summary
Wenona was not used to this. As a businesswoman, she always had something she could leverage in a deal, something she had that the other side would want. But she had made the choice to submit to Cassidy, and that power of leverage, of bargaining, had vanished.
Luckily, Cassidy didn’t seem to care much for bargaining. At the end of the day, she was on Wenona's leash. She would do whatever was asked of her.

Wenona slowly opened her eyes, blinking a few times as they adjusted to the bright light of the waiting room. Her gaze flitted briefly to the chairs on either side of her, stupidly believing there was anybody else the nurse could’ve been addressing at that moment. Wenona was the only one in that row of chairs – the nurse had meant her.

Summary
Kyouka Jirou and Momo Yaoyorozu haven't properly met due to their overlapping schedules and different lifestyles. Their paths slowly start to align after a mini locker mishap caused by Denki Kaminari. Slowly after, Kyouka and Momo find themselves sending letters to each other's lockers. With each passing letter the two girls, who couldn't seem more different, find a line of similarity as they indulge themselves in knowing the person behind the locker. Though it's all done without truly knowing who the other is, maybe that's for the best because sometimes the person behind the locker is the last person to expect.

Summary
Kyouka squeezes Momo’s hand tighter. Momo squeezes back all the same.
Their fingers slot together like puzzle pieces. Momo’s hand is slightly larger, but it’s softer, and nothing like Kyouka’s own. Hers are littered with callouses and scars—badges of her childhood in years past. Despite that, they complete each other. Call it early, or forward, or self-indulgent, but by that metric Kyouka could argue that they are like puzzle pieces as well. Oftentimes they’re referred to as opposites, and while they may be cut into different shapes or harbor different colors on the surface, they’re still two parts of the same whole.
She relishes in the stability that Momo’s hand provides.
Or, five times Momo offers her hand to Kyouka, and the one time Kyouka finally extends hers to Momo.

She wasn’t quite sure how the topic came to be, especially considering how long ago it was. If Kyouka thought really hard, she’d remember it was because Mina was going on and on about star signs or something. Given how early it was in the school year, it was probably some form of subtle icebreakers she was trying to get going to form the to-be girl group of Class A.
It was really supposed to be nothing. Just silly questions to spark of conversations without having to really show your personality. Still, what came from this one, was a tidbit of knowledge that'd change so much of her life forever. After being asked her birthday, Momo had said;
“It seems that makes you older than me doesn’t it, Jirou.”
And suddenly, Kyouka Jirou was on a spiral down a strange path. One month meant nothing in the grand scheme of things but it had reminded and ingrained in Kyouka the fact that Momo Yaoyorozu was a kid just like her- and shouldering the weight of the world was something that shouldn't have been her job. So she vows to do one thing;
She was going to protect this girl with her life.

"I'm looking, dear! And I'm taking pictures!" Momo followed the sound and saw a woman who looked just like Kyouka pointing her phone at the two of them.

The link was to an unlisted youtube video with less than a thousand views. In it, Momo recognized Kyouka's mother, now looking much more like the woman she had seen at the festival, including wearing her glasses. Unlike now, however, she looked exhausted. "Hey, people. So, uh, I'm currently in a hotel room because I wanna murder my fucking kid."
